Comments: Fingerless gloves

Very nice! Fingerless gloves for my sister-in-law are on my list; I like the Anne Budd book, too.
Noriko, can you tell about the fair isle from Tanishi House? It's very beautiful, and I've never seen anything like it before.

cheers!

Hi Lisa, I think some of Tanishi-san's fair isle sweaters are Japanese knit designer's and others are her original or partly original.

I'm no Fair isle expert at all so the following is only my personal opinion... I think many of her fair isle sweaters use basic fair isle patterns (such as XOXO), but maybe color combinations are different from what we often see in Western countries?

..I hope my English makes sense.

Oh, Tanishi-san said your compliment was a great encouragement!

Hi, Noriko-san!
Lisa, thank you for your compliment. I am very glad!
But I can not speak(write?) English well, so I am very sorry.
My fair-isle color combinations are different from traditional color. Noriko-san's opinion is collect.

Fingerless gloves are very nice!

Noriko-san, Tanishi-san, thank you so much for writing about this! I think that the Powder-Room Rose is gorgeous in those colors; I think Tanishi-san's sense of color is expert! The XOX is very traditional, but the colors are gorgeous. I am very inspired by this work, and would like to see more.

Thank you!

Sorry, I have the name of the beautiful sweater wrong; it's the Sea Pink, not Powder-Room Rose.
Noriko, thank you so much for the link to Tanishi House; I've found the gallery, and I can't believe my eyes...those are gorgeous sweaters! I am even more inspired!
