Two months!

It has been almost two months since my last blog entry...

My mother, sister and friends visited us from Japan and I have been busy taking them around to see places. My mother knits too, so it was fun to take her to yarn shops. I had a really good time, but I'm exhausted!

Speaking of yarn shops, I was sad to learn that Fiberarts Northwest in Portland (Oregon) closed their store. It was the only store where I could see spinning and weaving supplies around here. Actually there is one in Multonomah Village (I forgot the store's name), but I think it doesn't have the variety of supplies that Fiberarts Northwest had. Fiberarts... also carried Habu yarns. I will miss the store so much.

I didn't have much time to knit, so my husband's black calmer jacket is not done yet. It will not be done for awhile, because I still don't have time to knit... I'm reading Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince.
