I like to make slippers and I've knitted a few. I think I like these the best so far. This slipper pattern is easy enough to remember by heart, you can use left over yarn and it's fun! On this one I'm too lazy to change the yarn, but the idea of changing the yarn any time when you want to is just nice. I used Lion Brand Fishermen's wool and cascade 220.
The slipper pattern is "Random Ugly Technicolor Dream Slippers" (or Nancy's grandmother's crazy slippers), from the April 27th post at Super Eggplant
It's been more than 2 months since the last time I blogged. It was a hot summer and I didn't knit much. These are my summer knittings.

Somehow I wanted to knit a scarf in the middle of the summer. I used 3 Rowan Yorkshire Tweed 4ply.

This is my second attempt with a crochet hat and it fits perfectly. I used one and a half of Euroflax Aberdeen Heathers. The brim waves a bit. If I made it a little shorter it wouldn't wave, but I chose a longer brim for the shade.

I just finished these socks. Yarn is Cherry Tree Hill Supersock and it's soft! I'd like to knit something to wear next to skin with this yarn someday. I didn't like the color particurarly, but the recipient (my husband, K) likes it so it's O.K.
