Crocheted hat

I've been knitting and crocheting a little lately, and finally I have the first finished project since March 3rd. It's a simple crochet hat, crocheted with Rowan Denim (2 1/2 balls). The pattern is from Rowan & Jaeger Japan. I used a Japanese size 6 crochet hook. I was worried that crocheting cotton yarn might hurt my wrists, but the gauge was not tight at all and it was O.K. (I didn't crochet more than a few rows at a time, though.)

Crocheted fabric of Rowan Denim is beautiful! I'd love to knit another hat with Rowan Denim, but maybe I'll try Elann's Den-M-Nit next time. I've been wondering how different they are.
