Neckwarmers
I have found that I love neckwarmers.
These are knitted with Jo Sharp Silkroad Aran and Silkroad Aran Tweed. Silkroad Aran is a leftover from last year's DNA scarf. As for Silkroad Aran Tweed, I unravelled a hat I crocheted 2 years ago and reused it. I crocheted tight, so I wasn't sure if the yarn would be good enough to knit with, but the yarn revived beautifully after I steamed it with the steam iron.
I think the collar-like neckwarmers look nicer, but these knitted-in-round ones are much warmer and more practical. The white one is made with my hand spun yarn. It looks like this when worn.

Throw
You might notice that I'm trying to use my stash yarn recently, and this throw is another stash yarn project. My mother bought this mohair yarn for me when she went to New Zealand almost 10 years ago. I finally used it! The throw is about 55 x 55 inches and it is very warm. I wanted to add fringes, but didn't have enough yarn.
New Project
Now I'm knitting a sweater for my mother's birthday.
