lace socks

It was a fun quick project. Thank you Mihoko-san for a great pattern! Although Lace Sock Pattern is in Japanese you might figure out how to knit it, since lace pattern is written in the alphabet (or Knitter’s Symbol Fonts if you have them).

Hi Noriko,
beautiful socks for spring!
at first glance they resemble a pair of lace up ankle boots! How long did you take to knit them? I found step by step instructions on the sock knitters site for a pair of lacy socks that I'd love to try.

How cool! Godzilla Socks! Very nice!

It took me 4 days to knit them (Not so quick?!). I usually need 2 weeks for a pair because I get bored when I knit socks... But this lace pattern was fun and easy to knit, maybe that's why I could complete them faster than usual.

Trudy, Sock Knitter's lace sock looks great. It seems a little more difficult than this one but I'd like to try it too, they have good instructions.

Mariko (the one who knitted several pair of Herringbone Gloves. I think there are several Marikos around here, so just to clarify.) named this lace sock as "Godzilla Socks" because the lace pattern looks like the back of Godzilla!
