I must say these gloves were rather difficult to knit for me. I couldn't finished them without many online friend's help and encouragement! Since I've got a lot of tips and info about knitting these Herringbone pattern gloves. I'll post them here someday.
Now I'll go back to knit LoTech Sweat for K. I need to knit one more sleeve, hood and pockets. I don't think I'll be able to knit them before Valentine's day...
Posted by noriko at February 10, 2004 10:01 PMFabulous! They are beautiful. I find them a bit difficult to knit too, but I'm still not sure why. The end result is certainly worth it, though! Congratulations on your gorgeous new pair of gloves.
Posted by: Lisa at February 11, 2004 09:24 PMhi noriko - it's pretty easy when you are in your movable type editing menu - go to "weblog config" in the left column, then click on "preferences" in the list at top right and under 'general settings' you wil see "number of days displayed" and you can make that as many as you want - right now it's probably set at 7. your gloves are beautiful by the way, great work!! i look forward to seeing your next project! -carolyn
Posted by: carolyn at February 12, 2004 05:46 AMHello Noriko,
Your gloves look wonderful! Gorgeous!
Also your notes re your gauge, needles size, etc are very helpful...
I've bought yarn to start a pair for myself.
I've begun testing a swatch and already the yarn is becoming so tangled. How did you handle knitting with the two colors? Any helpful tips?

thank you! Your gloves are beautiful too, I want to knit them again in different color someday. I usually choose the designs which are easy enough to complete, so it was a good experience.
Carolyn,
thank you for the explanation. It was easy!! I'm feeling comfortable to make a new entry recently, but changing settings of MovableType is still overwhelming…
Trudy,
I held brown yarn with my left hand, white with right hand, like the photo on this page http://www.socknitters.com/kickback/KBlesson2.htm . I put each ball of the yarn on my each side, so they did not tangle so badly.
Noriko,
thanks so much for the link to the sockknitters site. This is very helpful info. I had put my herringbone swatch aside to knit something else. Now I can try this technique!
